I love my Canon A2000 IS, but the stupid thing scratched it;s own lens one of the first times the lens cap retracted. . . and the warrenty wont cover that for some reason. . .

the only difference between a2100 and a2000 that i can see is that a2100 has two more megapixels.

no you can’t its a basic point and shoot you can’t change the shutter speed or the aperture, in other words it has no manuel settings.

a2100 is the model replacing the 2000 (so yes its better), the 1000 has a viewfinder and the 2100 and 2000 and the 1100 don’t (i’m not to sure on the 1100)

I got this for my birthday, it’s really difficult to take pictures indoors unless I set it on HI ISO. Outdoors it is usually easier to get a better quality photograph. However, Canon is a quality brand to invest in! I’m really interested in the Canon EOS 400D.

The 2 battery cams are weak (slow recycle time) but the ones that take 4AA’s are pretty fast, like my A610. But Canon foolishly decided to stop making anymore Canon Powershot A series cameras that use 4 AA batteries. Canon. . WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?

This guy is paid by Sony, Nikon or Pentax, right? He will not ruin the fun I have with my Canon. The Powershot A2000 IS is a great thing, but he makes it look cheap.

How do you charge the canon a2000 battery and has it got red eye?

u can use normal alkaline batteries or rechargeable nickel metal hydride batteries

but he didn’t mention that with alkaline batteries their not rechargeable so u’ll waste a lot of money buying those as opposed to getting just 2 rechargeable batteries that u can use over and over again

not very good battery choice cause other canon cameras use lithium ion batteries which has a longer battery life, other than that, out of the other 10mp canon compact cameras, this one has the biggest optical
